I guess 1500/- a month is a better choice rather than investing in cable modem. 
And as I have repeated in number of threads on this list, Putting a cable modem 
for each connection is waste of it. Put a modem in front of a switch and 
connect few clients to that switch. Modi/Mantra MSN configured my cable access 
that way and I was getting 64kbps good quality..

Ask them if DSL would be 24/7. Few of my friends have dishnet DSL for an hour a 
day types. That's worse than telephone.

And as Suresh pointed out in last mail, stay away from dishnet. A whole M$ shop 
who has no idea of ersource management. I have got answeres like 'Please don't 
connect now, there are too many people connected' etc. And besides there DNS 
used to suck bad last I used it. Had to run a caching DNS on my machine to make 
a bang of my telephone bills..

I don't know if they would dig the road for DSL. I hope not. Roads are bad as 
it as everywhere..
