I guess 1500/- a month is a better choice rather than investing in cable modem. And as I have repeated in number of threads on this list, Putting a cable modem for each connection is waste of it. Put a modem in front of a switch and connect few clients to that switch. Modi/Mantra MSN configured my cable access that way and I was getting 64kbps good quality.. > I want to know if someone has used these services. Which one would be > preferable. Ask them if DSL would be 24/7. Few of my friends have dishnet DSL for an hour a day types. That's worse than telephone. And as Suresh pointed out in last mail, stay away from dishnet. A whole M$ shop who has no idea of ersource management. I have got answeres like 'Please don't connect now, there are too many people connected' etc. And besides there DNS used to suck bad last I used it. Had to run a caching DNS on my machine to make a bang of my telephone bills.. I don't know if they would dig the road for DSL. I hope not. Roads are bad as it as everywhere..
