hi guys,

  i need some help. i have a machine with mandrake 8.2 and win Me
installed. theres abt 8 GB left of my 40 Gig HDD. i want to install
debian potato in that space. how do i go about installing it?

can i share the /home and the swap with mandrake? i have never installed
debian. is it very different from mandrake? what's the size of
partitions i have to make? i just want to install it to try it out. 

can i squeeze suse into these 8 gigs too? i'd really like that.
