believe me ... it was'nt funny !! and i think my post has been misunderstood by most ppl on the list. The point i was trying to make was that in bengal ppl ... and not only the ppl at ilug ... tend to assume that everyone knows bengali. I have attended meetings earlier also at other places .. delhi, chandigarh .. and the discussion was all in english and sometimes in punjabi and hindi.
