Why not try and learn the Bengali Language, its wonderful. I attend the ilug-Hyd and many times the situation is similar. But I am now picking up Telugu and am able to at least understand, if not speak. So, take my advice, learn the language as fast as possible. If you know Hindi, that should not be any problem.
