i did net join, thats fine.
but i am not able to mount a windows share. i need to do a kinit, get a
ticket and then it works.

Another problem I am facing is that, when i want to access a share on this
linux box, then i am forced to add users by the same name as in the AD. And
then, i dont need any authentication, it allows me to directly access the
share without a passwd unlike earlier times when i had to do a smbpasswd.

Now, i want that, there should be a common place for people to put their
files. Of course, the common sharable option works well in the smb.conf file
where there is a common share for all users , but i am forced to add users
to the box. If i am able to issue a ticket to my linux box to mount my
windows shares over the network, cant i make samba to sync with the AD so
that, it authenticates users without bothering about a similar user being
added to the box ?
