Hi Arvind, I believe you are trying to connect to a Windows 2000 Domain Controller with AD setup ?
I have a RedHat Es 2.1 Server which needs to share directory with a Windows 2000 Domain Controller with AD setup . It has Samba-2.7.x Do we need Samba 3.x which was released on 29th August to do this ? Can you please pass on your smb.conf file so that I can try the same setup here ? My objective is to share a directory on the Linux box for the domain controller and if posisble have the user account on the Linux box instead of using the account on the domain controller. I hope this is possible. I have been trying this now for quite a long time. Please reply and help, Regards, Vijay.
