But Still I prefer qmail for production servers due to its sheer
efficiency and security reasons.

Postfix will beat qmail any day. For one simple reason - you don't waste time accepting all incoming mail and then bouncing it later if you are not able to deliver it because of reasons like user unknown (this is because of privilege separation, where qmail-smtpd doesnt have a view of the user db)


If you are implementing a new install go straight for postfix or exim - qmail can be safely ditched.
