Sure!!! What is the problem ?

http://developer.intel.com/technology/agp/tutorial/chapt_3.htm (Arun,
thanx for the link)

So "2x" would be twice the burst transfer rate of the original version
of AGP.

Trio != Virge

Random Access Memory Digital to Analog Converter. AFAIK, it is
responsible for converting the digital signals to analog ones so that it
can be displayed using conventional analog monitors. The faster ur
RAMDAC, the higher the resolution and refresh rates!

Note: Monitors which claim to be "digital" actually use analog signals.
Plasma displays/LCD panels are truly digital.

Hmm, looks like auto probing is not working! Are u using XF86_S3 3.3.6?
I am not sure whether u can hardwire the RAMDAC speed.

Not exactly sure but I think it stands for "clock chip" value.

Nothing unusual about the lack of documentation.

mclk and VRAM speed are not related with the system RAM.

Dont use XF86Setup then. Use xf86config instead! Being a very recent
chipset from S3, perhaps there is NO driver support for X11. Why dont u
try getting graphic frame buffer up instead and use the fbdev X11 server
like Khadar did.

Khadar, help him out willya?

268,265 are all chipsets manufactured by S3. Differences??? Check out
www.s3.com

Try the FB trick and get back.
