Probably what happened was that you either had /boot as a normal directory
and not it's own partition at some point, or you restored a backup that
included /boot. That would leave those files in the /boot directory on
hdc6. When you mount /boot from hdc1, it overrides and replaces the contents
of the /boot directory on hdc6 with what's on that partition on hdc1.
You should be able to clear out the /boot directory on hdc6 without
causing any problems. Do not remove the /boot directory, though, it has
to be present as a mount point for hdc1.

Anybody know of a good web-based POP mail checker (like Hotmail) for Red
Hat 6.x that is free?? I have checked out a few and I'm looking for one
that will support virtual hosts as well. Any feedback is greately
appreciated! Thanks in advance.
Chris
