Hello All,

First of all I'd like to thank Rene Herman for help
with resolving the problem with dial-up.
The problem realy was with IRQ conflicts - the
simpliest ideas always come last :))))

So, as now I can go to the Internet from Linux,
I have several questions about Internet applications:

1. I have installed Netscape Communicator 4.07 for Linux...
Are there any great changes made since its release, do
I need to download a newer version?

2. As you probably see, I'm sending this message from my mailer
for Win98. That's because I've subscribed this list to the
geocities account. And now I need to set up some Linux
mailer for using it. I can't do it in Netscape, because
it doesn't support multiple accounts.
Maybe someone can advice me some Linux mailer, which
can work with POP3?

3. And finally about FTP managers. I have terrible phone
lines, so this type of apps is very important for me.
I need some FTP manager which can d/l simulteneously
several files and can resume broken downloads.
Ability to work with several URLs to one file will be
an advantage. In Windows the idal program for me was
GetRight.
So could you please advise me something similar to it ?
and it's better if this prog won't need GLIB and GTK+
libraries - I have some problems installing them - maybe
soon I'll send here a letter about this, but now I just
haven't tried really hard to install them, so don't want
to bother you so early :))

Best regards,
    Loki
