Granted, sometimes the list's turnaround time is less than desirable.
But, I don't think that is reason enough to Cc everyone that has
posted to a particular thread.

And I learned a long time ago (regrettably still learning the lesson)
that you should never "assume" anything because all it does is make an 
ASS out of U and Me (ASS/U/ME).

To overcome this problem all the original poster would need to do
would be to include something like "this is urgent so could you please 
respond directly to my address thanks" in their posting.
