No Ray its not an "oops" its lilo doing its job but it found a msdos
partition instead of a ext2 on /dev/hda1.
I supoose we must conclude that TAG has either changed something or he had
accidently changes his partition table with fdisk, i say that considering
he says its worked for weeks beforehand.

I sould have said that when i wrote my reply, i got called away when i was
half way thro' sorry.
