I belive configurating netscape to work via a proxy server shopuld be
enough, be the remote proxy server NT windows or (u)Linux.

In netscape click on edit then preferances
then click on the little arrow on the left of "advanced" it should then
chage direction and point downwards, 2 fields should then appier, proxies
and cache, click proxies then manual configuration, then "view" a seperate
window will appier, fill in the hostname and port of the remote server,
after closing the file it should work.

You will have to find out on which port the NT server is listening, normaly
it will be port 8080 or 80.

Thats what i do here on all my machines.

Unless the NT server is configured to reject Linux boxes, why that should
be i dont know, then configuring netscape should work.

Yes it says use socks in the documentation, NO you dont need to use it.
