Actually The Proxy server is connected out to the Internet, and all
workstations
connect through it for Web Mail and News, All of the Windows clients work
perfectly and even Netscape works on the Linux box but only through the
Web Proxy ( which does not support Socks 4 clients ) in order for other
apps to work they have to be Socks4 compliant Hench this is why the
news and mail side of Netscape does not work.. I'll take a look at Dante
but I still do not feel like I've gotten to know Linux well enough to start
attempting to run a full blown Firewall/Proxy.. and I know The one I have
up now is solid as it's seen many attacks and has never been compromised.
