Not me.  My Linux computer is a 486dx4-100 with 16meg ram.

Linux runs fine for me, even X.  Of course, Netscape takes a
wee while to load, but that's Netscape.  And I wouldn't dream 
of trying to run StarOffice.

Definitely.  Ditch your bloated wm/desktop and use something
lean and fast (like icewm).  Downgrade a slow application to 
an earlier version (with less bloat) or substitute a faster 
alternative.  Prune unnecessary processes.
