I forget if I saw/replied to this on this list or usenet but it was
talked about recently. I use Blackbox and Slackware 7.0 and notice the
same thing with netscape. I mentioned that changing to another desktop
(I have two "workspaces" defined in Blackbox) with Ctrl-RightArrow then
back with Ctrl-LeftArrow seems to give you back control of the cursor
and you can go on to fill in fields in the form. Someone else mentioned
opening an xterm and then going back to netscape gave them control.

I saw several replies from folks noticing the same thing with netscape
and other window managers so it is not just Blackbox. Maybe it has to
do with how mouse focus is set? I use "sloppy" focus in Blackbox.

When presented with a form (I don't fill out many forms on the web), I
usually fill in all text fields first and do the pulldown boxes last!
