Hi there,
I'm running Linux version 2.2.13-7mdk
([EMAIL PROTECTED]) (gcc version 2.95.1 19990816 (release)).
I've had Samba version 2.0.5a-3mdk running on my system quite happily
for a while now. Last night I thought that I would upgrade to Samba
version 2.0.7-20000425. So I installed the new package using RPM
manager... (upgrade selected) everything went fine until I shut down and
restarted the Samba daemons. I got the following error messages:
Jun 12 23:39:08 darkstar smbd: smbd: error in loading shared libraries:
/lib/libreadline.so.3: undefined symbol: BC
Jun 12 23:39:08 darkstar smb: smbd startup failed
Jun 12 23:39:09 darkstar nmbd: nmbd: error in loading shared libraries:
/lib/libreadline.so.3: undefined symbol: BC
Jun 12 23:39:09 darkstar smb: nmbd startup failed
Any ideas to cure this problem??
Thanks
Artie
