I have been having the same problem as a couple of others with Samba. I can access a public directory but as soon as I try to use any form of security it all goes wrong. I have set it up as per the book 'Linux Network toolkit' and testparm gives it all the OK. Is there something I need to do that I'm not with the Win98 box I'm trying to connect to? Cheers James
