Hi all,
OK I have been using most of ftape 3.x versions with this unit
(ditto 3200). I am using kernel 2.0.36, modutils-2.1.85. The
kernel and ftape have been compiled with gcc-2.7.x.x.
I do not know why but I do not succeed to get ftape working! I just
tried 3.04d and 4.02 without success. Of course the kernel has been
compiled without ftape support. I have installed
ftape-tools-1.07.
when I try
ftmt -f /dev/qft0 status
I get
ftmt: /dev/qft0: Device not configured.
Nothing is happening with the tape, not even the light blinking.
I have applied the patch for the broken floppy.
Any idea what is wrong here.
