Yes, I have a Buslogic BT-930 ($39) and a Conner/Seagate/IBM 2GB DAT 
drive ($89).  It really was plug and play,  it's fast and reliable.  
Not to mention the tapes are on $5,  compared to the $16 - $24 for the 
average QIC-* tape.  And I can shove the tape in any of the BIG 
servers at work,  write to it, and take it home.
