Jim,

The Iomega 4MB/s Plug and Play Controller has it's own FDC and
connects to an Internal Ditto Max drive. Parport doesn't figure here
at all.

You've created an /etc/isapnp.conf which is good. Just read the ftape
docs for editing /etc/conf.modules for the module parameters.

The modules you should be using are:

    zftape
    ftape
    ftape-internal

If, OTOH, you want to use an external Ditto Max on the Parallel Port
then forget the isapnp.conf stuff and ensure that parport is correctly
configured in /etc/conf.modules.
