Therefore, I'd like to finish the idmouse driver from where I left it, however, the old thread seemed a bit inconsistent to me with regard to what needs to be fixed. IIRC, some whitespacing was still messed up, a few blank lines should be removed and instead of info(), dev_info() would have been better. (*) I guess as 2.6.8.1 is now the current release kernel, you would like a patch against that one?
