Hi!

I bought Labtec Axis 712 USB headset (headphones+microphone).
I connected it to my Red Hat 7.2 notebook with standard Red Hat
2.4.9-13 kernel. It worked in full-duplex out of box! Thanks for a great
work!

However I can not control the volume, neither on output
nor on input. gmix does not work, xmixer (with different -device options)
as well. I can change the levels in them but it just does not have
any impact.

Could somebody help me with that, please?

Also if somebody could help with getting buttons working as they
do not work at all right now.

If this headset were working with Linux it would be the cheapest solution
for full-duplex audio for those Linux users who have notebooks
with unsupported audio chips (as I do).

At the moment they sell for $47 together with a USB 4-ports hub.

Thanks for any help ,

Best Regards,

Jacek
