I'm stating my views -- with which many people agree. If that motivates 
some irrational or manipulative people to respond with a "flamefest," 
that's too bad. If one allows  flamers to intimidate him or her into 
not expressing an opinion, then one is allowing oneself to be muzzled 
by people who do this intentionally to repress dissenting viewpoints.
