Lots of people have suggested Squid for the Community Proxy concept. I have looked at this and squid does not fit the bill as it will not cope with being completely decentralised. If they can make it work, fine. If they are not prepared to make it work, nor am I :) If you know better, please help me fix the docs!
One little thing I forgot to mention: DNS Lookups. We need something like zcip for decentralised IP configuration. There are Java versions of that too. I'd better update things.
