Yes you might be correct about him not trading Yuri - I think it had grown to be a bit more than a hobby - but perhaps was not profitable enough. I also did not get a reply from my last e-mail. I know his neighbor tho, so might check with him at some stage to see if they are still there - maybe they have moved.

That's right. I bought one and it's very nice. Despite the fact my top connection speed is 48000 (due to rural copper rather than any shortcoming of the modem - I'm sure). However, I emailed scuttle to see if they had another one for my brother and they never replied. Pity. He went and bought an external serial modem from DSE and I'm not sure whether it's the DSE modem or the line, but he can't get any joy. Slooow as. Not sure of scuttle is still trading - I think it was just a hobby or sideline for the McFaddens. Yuri
