Throwing my two cents on the table here: paranoia and doubt are two different things; about google, using it and getting your email hashed/indexed/ranked/compared/datamined is just part of the 'deal' full stop, it's your choice ( unfortunately people emails replying to a gmail account will be indirectly involved ) Having said that I can't help but think of a sentence that went on the lines of: "The cost of freedom is constant vigilance"...
