Ahh its all coming back. I just reviewed the thread where we discussed
it last time on chch robotics. (starts here if anyone is interested
( http://www.rout.co.nz/pipermail/chchrobotics/2004-January/000297.html )

I'd like to send stereo audio as well as video, and have found various
bits and pieces on ebay, some on nz sites too. Here is an example:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=3763&item=5736747090&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

That one is interesting because it says "S-Video + 2 Audio channels or
S-Video + 2 Video channels." Another ad for a similar product with 3 rca
plugs says "3 Video/Audio channels - any combination." - which kinda
implies to me that video and audio are interchangeable on the baluns.
Electricly is this correct? what impedance does one see in a line level
audio cable?

Anyway Andrew's quest in the previous thread for a cheaper solution is
still sought.
