A 'Notice of Objection to Grant of Patent' may be lodged with Intellectual Property Office New Zealand.
This is submitted on form PAT15.pdf[1]. A fee of NZ$337.50 is required.
No way I can pay 337.50 to complain about a lousy patent.
Bizarrely, it costs less to apply for a patent than to object to one.
I rang up IPONZ and spoke to Keith. He sympathised with me but said there was no way around the fee.
Next step. The ombudsmen.
