I'm currently trying to use the ltmodem-2.6-alk-8 driver. Before this I
tried ltmodem-8.31b1
Details below that I've collected. Not sure how the .wvdial.conf file in
my home directory relates to the settings I enter in gnome-ppp or via
pppconfig. Using pppconfig I set up pap authorisation and enter username
and password but this is entered in gnome-ppp anyway but gnome-ppp doesn't
enable one to specify authorisation type, etc.
Cheers
Matt
