In FC5 kernel 2.6.17 the bcm43xx driver is there too but it's useless.
Installed with ndiswrapper and worked ok. The trick is to have the right
m$ driver for the card in hand.
True. I've had the bcm43xx running with ndiswrapper on Ubu5.10 (as has
Don iirc), done the online upgrade which created a clash disabling the
wireless, decided another error was enough to make it clean install time
(its a testbox), then discovered the acpi in 6.06 was stuffed (twice;
there's a new version out already that I haven't gotten to yet) - as
dropping the power cable to battery resulted in a borked desktop (yes,
Gnome! 8)

suggests bcm43xx will be in the 2.6.15 kernel included with dapper. But
it isn't in the 2.6.15 kernel sources that i have at home. Nic says it
is in 2.6.17 - maybe it was delayed and not included in 2.6.15
amazing what google and the ubuntu wiki can find though isn't it.
Is that a new bug listing done?
