Hummm.... reboot does seem to work some times. > You have been told a zillion bloody times to try > the bcm43xx module. Man calm down.... that's exactly what I've been doing for the past hour! > > man modprobe modprobe is a wrapper for the a bunch of mod commands AIUI... I did a insmod bcm43xx and it's given an error... I've just been googleing see: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg46637.html But I don't fully understand what they're saying... I suspect I'm being told that I need to recompile a kernel now with other bits in it... Man, I stuff up getting this HP laptop. Should have done a little more research first, thou with HP being such a big oss supporter I'm really supprised they're not paying for the production of 'drivers' and making this process much easier - if you know anyone at HP, you might like to pass on my thought that it's time I switched to IBM perhaps :) Cheers Don -- Don Gould www.thinkdesignprint.co.nz - www.tcn.bowenvale.co.nz - www.bowenvale.co.nz - SkypeMe: ThinkDesignPrint
