So you put your Rugby before you Linux geeks! How many of your rugby players even know your name?!

Sorry Rob, my comments weren't directed at you at all...

I was actually waiting patiently for a response, to my off list email...

2/ If you read the Mepis web site you wouls see the following..
"The ISO image is available for download in the 'release' subdirectory at the MEPIS Subscriber's Site and at MEPIS public mirrors."

I browsed the site looking for a reference to a 'live cd' that you all refered to. I didn't find one.

I would not ever accuse Chris of filling my inbox with crap. I would however, especially after this week accuse you Don.

....and no, neither would I. Did you read the opening comments on my post?

Rik - you have the balls to give me shit on this list about my
competence in teaching these people,

Well after your dumb questions this last week I think I would join Rik on this.

Me too....

However these kids have two choices currently....

1. Less than competant Don. (who can't even spell).

2. NO HELP AT ALL - Stay with MICROSOFT WINDOWS XP - Have a teacher that becomes disillusioned about CLUG and GNUZ.

While I understand that Nick has a job, and so do others on this list, I have a job as well... I have a company to build, with a growing number of customers who want our help. I still *make* time.

Sure, I don't expect that everyone should give up the time I do, and there are reasons why I can give up the time...

But an hour out to have some lunch with a bunch of willing and keen geeks wanting to 'find the light' from 'the dark side'.

Call to order.

Cheers Don
