Probably.  Time for a new one.  And in general it is not worth the money 
for extended warranties.

Buy an identical model from TradeMe.  Move your hard drive to it.

Run MEMTEST86 just to see if it isn't bad RAM (an easy fix- and bad RAM can 
manifest itself in bizarre ways).

Buy a new laptop.  Twice as good and half the price of the one you had.
