So, I've just been putting up with the changing of dns server address
each time I boot my machine.

I just tried setting a static IP address and it doesn't work e.g. hangs
while connecting in browser or mail client.

No, I haven't been running a firewall and yes I guess Xtra's nameservers
should be appropriate, since that's our ISP.

Appreciate your help!
