I've had only AMD 64bit for the past 8 years and can't complain. No
buggy chipsets either that I've heard of and that cause recalls or
manufacturer's service replacements.

Everyone has brand preferences that stem from the past, and mine are
anti- amd / ATI / barbeques / ladders+gravity / sports shoes / contact
lenses and boiling oil. Each one has a reason based on personal experience.
I'm simply aware that I am biased against those things.
