Ah, damn. I'm afraid it's likely you're just in front of the brick wall
on this one.

Best assume the limit for consumer desktop boards is 32GB right now.
The limit is imposed by the chipset and may be further reduced by a
BIOS that's of lower quality than it should be. Further limits are the
number of memory slots and the size of the modules in the shop. The
bottom line is the smallest of the above.
