Another question about your laptop running a dual boot Linux and Windows...

When you installed Linux on your laptop, did you have to format the C drive
first?

Then did you install Linux... what variant of GNU/Linux are you using? I am
using lubuntu

Then finally, did you have to reinstall windows on to your laptop.

I phoned Global PC's and they recommended a $500 laptop with 4 gigs of RAM,
a 1 TB hard drive and they told me
that I would need to reinstall Windows to get a dual boot system working on
a single hard drive machine.
