  I don't know about 'running nicely under WINE'(who would  try
Mozilla/NS6 for Windows under WINE under Linux? ), but doesn't NS
6/Mozilla count as a 'free'(?) software? As for your second condition,
is it a problem as long as (E)SMTP/IMAP4(and its secure counter
part)/POP3(ditto)/LDAP are also supported? If not and 'free' does not mean
'source code availability', MS OE should be counted as well :-)
