No: the freelang dictionnaries are not in utf8. I wrote small perl script to convert them (if you are interested ?) No, they or some are not: I just tried the mueller(rusian) dictionnary in dict format with the command "dict love" in a UTF8 xterm and the caracters are not in russian. I found out that the encoding was KIOR-8 (or KOI8-R) I build last week from the sources the same dictionnary in utf8 and everything was OK.
