I have to agree with everyone on the list. As a slightly new user myself I find testing different distros is "Best" and the "easiest". depending on where you live. if you are from the portland oregon area you can check out freegeek. They have been showing and teaching debian distro for the past 5 yrs and have had lots of success with it. Freegeeks newest adventure though is using ubuntu on their thrift store boxes that they sell for cheap and installing ubuntu on macs also. I don't have a favorite distro I use personally but I do believe in testing different flavors out to see what I like and don't care for. Best of luck to you and all your adventures. Trevor
