The command line doesn't have a Recycle Bin or Trash or anything.  If
it's deleted, it's gone.  If you want to add that functionality, I'd
make a directory that's something like ~/Trash, then alias rm to mv the
file to ~/Trash.

I don't know exactly how to do that off the top of my head, but that
should give you a good start.
