personally I've been using Red hat Linux and have been supporting it
for some years now , not really branching into any other distro unless
it was "red-hat based" ,
i recently over the past several months have been trying out, Ubuntu,
Linux in which is based on debian, quite the change from Redhat,
i do love the Updater that updates your packages, and it's Java ready in
which makes installing java a breeze,
*I* *do not* however like this Sudo Concept command in which u have to
login to do anything as root, and never u just can't login as root
under a shell and do anything it doesn't allow that
i've found great annoyances in just trying to edit and save a simple
php file or sh file a royal pain in the butt, is there anyway to make
this work like redhat,>? and make this sudo thing go away "hehehe"
i've seen were u can create a sh file and create a link and drop all
your files into it u wanna edit, but what if i'm at a shell prompt, .?
lets discuss this sudo Command and ways to get ROOT when i want it
what if i WANNA stay root all the time??? i love ubuntu "if it just
wasn't for SUDO" arrgg thanks
