A symbolic link is simply an entry that do a
redirection.
The called app. must be "link aware".
A shortcut" in Win 9x, or an "alias" on the Mac is a
file that content the name and path of the other app.
So, it is close, but not exactly the same...

one of a lug page, or anypages that has the expected
