Hello James,

I agree the Caldera 2. distribution, with KDE are safe
choice.
It is perhaps not too exciting, but a clean solution,
with little chance to overload call to "tech supp".

As long as somebody install for a new user, I do not
think the distribution itself is too critical.
The wm is another story.
