Done,

I second the feature request to:

generally protect the access to the airtame
to be able to hand the credentials/access to others on demand

One way to do this in general:

authentication: Make the airtame configurable to be able to log on
with username/credentials using LDAP/ActiveDirectory as a backend
authorisation: let anyone in, that belongs to a certain group

That way it could be integrated in many enterprise environments.
I'm sure many schools would benefit the same way, since most school
network solutions (at least the reasonable ones) have some authorization
framework running.

Hi lenlux,

not sure, if this helps:

Until they implement a feature, why not workaround?
If you have access to the routing switch or computer, why not modify the
route on demand, i.e.

put the airtame in a separate VLAN/LAN - if this is possible
make sure that a teachers device can always be routed to the airtame
from the usual network
make configurable that students can be routed to the airtame

just an idea.
