I think you guys are missing the point.  The "new" privacy policy, not
the stuff they have been doing for years, that starts on March 1st,
2012 is something users must accept.  It is this new policy that
people have a problem.  The fact that Google runs a script that search
my email and puts the ad words in the right column when I am using the
web client is different than them forcing users to accept that their
data will be shared with other sites.  Users should be able to opt out
of this policy, IMO.
