Maybe will buy a new Ratel system from System76: https://www.system76.com/desktops/model/ratp1 or maybe rebuild my current system; haven't decided yet. I did speak with the folk at System76; they confirm I can add the Kubuntu packages I'd use. I'll make a decision in the next few days.
