I took a look at it and it's a 284 line bash script that uses zenity and
gconf to set the parameters. I was weary of it being malicious too, so I
 checked it out(I don't use Gnome).

The guy is actually a pretty good scripter to his credit. He has a few
other things which are useful to some(perl, etc).

He also has something that makes XP look like Gnome, LOL
