I am the IT person for a small municipality (pop 6000) my supervisor has asked me to find ways to reduce costs. Over the next couple years we will be replacing 12 Windows and Office Pro Boxes. One way I am looking at to reduce cost is to replace the Windows boxes with Ubuntu and Open Office. In the end it is not the users choice but it is in my best interest to reduce the learning curve.
